By accessing or using TextBattle.net through https://textbattle.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the revised version with an updated last-updated date.
TextBattle.net is a text-based character card battle platform. The Service allows users to create and manage character cards, generate AI-assisted card descriptions, participate in AI-judged battles, view Elo rankings, connect with friends, and share invite links to bring others into the game.
You may use the Service as an anonymous guest or create a permanent account through a third-party authentication provider such as Google. You are responsible for activities that occur under your account and for keeping access to your device and account secure.
Anonymous accounts are intended for temporary use. Data associated with anonymous accounts may be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices without linking to a permanent account. TextBattle.net is not responsible for data loss associated with anonymous accounts.
As of March 16, 2026, the Service is provided without any in-app currency, purchase flow, or paid gameplay actions. Core actions such as creating cards, generating AI-assisted descriptions, and starting battles are currently free to use.
We may change how the Service is funded in the future, including introducing advertising, sponsorships, optional purchases, or other monetization features. If we do, we will update these Terms and any related billing or refund policy before the change takes effect.
Certain features of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate content, including character card descriptions, battle narratives, and battle outcomes. AI-generated outputs are provided as-is and may contain inaccuracies, unexpected language, or results you disagree with.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content, and you should not rely on it as factual, professional, or legal advice.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TextBattle.net and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of original content you create through the Service, such as character card names and descriptions, subject to the license described in Section 8.
You are solely responsible for any content you create, upload, or share through the Service, including character card names, character card descriptions, profile nicknames, battle-related text, and support communications. By creating content on the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and adapt such content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TEXTBATTLE.NET, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Because the Service currently has no in-app purchases or subscriptions, there are no ongoing billing obligations for normal use. Our Billing and Refund Policy describes the current no-purchase model and how to contact us if you have a historical billing question.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
